Mr. Johnston joined HighBrook in 2026 and leads the firm's Private Capital Markets team, which is responsible for sourcing global institutional and high net worth capital for funds, joint ventures and co-investments. He also oversees investor and consultant relations.
Mr. Johnston brings more than two decades of experience in financial services to his role at HighBrook. Prior to joining the firm, he spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held a variety of senior positions spanning investment banking and investment management. Throughout his tenure, he developed deep expertise in capital formation, client relationship management, and investment strategy, working with some of the world’s most sophisticated institutional investors.
Mr. Johnston earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA from the University of Virginia and a BA from James Madison University.
